“What’s Next” For Dementia Patients?

BRICK – The diagnosis is daunting enough. Being told that you have dementia or another type of cognitive decline opens up a world of doctors’ recommendations, possible medications, and a lot of stress that you don’t need right now. How do you sort it all out?

Dr. Sherrie All is presenting a free webinar teaching families how to wade through doctors’ recommendations and learn what people can do to take care of themselves. She will help people figure out what is an effective treatment and what is just a gimmick.

As owner of one of the few practices that treats people specifically for this circumstance, she is in a unique position to offer advice. She is an international speaker, writer, licensed clinical neuro-rehabilitation psychologist, brain health expert and owner/director of the Chicago Center for Cognitive Wellness.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, January 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. Registration is required by January 13. In order to register, visit TheArtisWay.com/BrickEvents or call 732-523-5568.

The event is being hosted virtually by Artis Senior Living of Brick, a memory care assisted living. Artis is currently accepting residents and offering virtual tours. Call 732-475-7040 to learn more about the Brick location.
