LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Police are investigating a shooting that left an area man in critical but stable condition.
Shaqueese White, 30, of Jackson, was shot at least three times in his legs, police said. The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 12 in a Marshall Street home in the Pine Acres section of town.
White was brought to a local hospital and he is currently in critical but stable condition.
The investigation continues, with the assistance of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Additional information will be released by police as it becomes available.
