JACKSON – Police are investigating the report of an attempted luring that took place on May 31.
An 11-year-old told police that at around 5 p.m. he was walking on Woodlane Road when he was approached by a man driving a gray minivan. The driver stopped, rolled the window down, and told the child that his mother had sent him to pick him up.
The child ran away and the driver left the scene.
The driver was described as a white man with short, curly dark hair, a thin black goatee, and wearing black colored sunglasses.
