BRICK – A township woman was arrested for allegedly attacking two people with a knife during a fight.
Candace Haynes, 38, of Brick was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
The charges stem from a fight at 195 Sawmill Rd. on April 12 at around 2:30 a.m. The fight was between three neighbors. Surveillance footage from the area led to the arrest of Haynes.
One victim sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound to her neck. She began her treatment at Ocean Medical Center but was later transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center. The other victim received a cut on her arm and was treated at the scene by Brick Police EMS.
