TOMS RIVER — Check those numbers! A $50,000 winning lottery ticket was sold in Toms River recently, according to NJ Lottery officials.
The winning Powerball ticket was sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club on Route 37 West. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in the Wednesday, Jan. 8 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 02, 04, 07, 43 and 56. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The multiplier number was 04.
Outside of Ocean County, another $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Bergen County and one worth $200,000 was sold in Morris County recently.
