JACKSON – Local and county authorities are probing a shooting incident that took place early Sunday morning during an event at the Jackson Crossing Plaza.
Jackson Township Police said at approximately 2:06 am on Sunday December 29, 2019, officers responded to the parking lot at 21 South Hope Chapel Road on the report of gunshots.
Upon arriving, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. The men, aged 20 and 44, were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and any additional information to be released will be via the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
