MANASQUAN – Residents feel a great source of pride for painted signs that display their location. So, naturally, some were very upset to find the “Greetings From Manasquan” mural defaced with graffiti.
The mural, located at the Inlet Beach on Riverside Drive, sports letters decorated with well-known sights of the area. If anyone has any information as to the culprit, they are encouraged to contact Det. Tischio at the Manasquan Police Department. He can be reached at 732-223-1000.
A private citizen has offered a $250 reward for information that leads to the conviction of the culprit, police said.
