BRICK – Locals rejoiced, packing the newly-opened Trader Joe’s in the Brick Plaza this morning for their official grand opening.
The grocery chain announced earlier this week the open date of the new store at 110 Brick Plaza as Oct. 17. To mark the occasion, Trader Joe’s hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony just before the doors opened at 9 a.m., adding some live music, tastings and giveaways into the mix as well.
While there are already 13 Trader Joe’s locations throughout New Jersey, this is the first to open in Ocean County. The Brick location will not sell alcohol, unlike the Westfield and Princeton locations.

Trader Joe’s is national grocery chain offering up “amazing food and drink from around the globe and around the corner” at great prices, according to the company.
