LACEY – A driver was issued several charges by Lacey police relating to drinking and driving early this morning.
Jennifer McNerney, 20, was pulled over just after 4 a.m. on Aug. 22 by Officer Jesse Dalziel after allegedly going through a red light. The front passenger tire had damage which appeared to be the result of colliding with a traffic sign on Lake Barnegat Drive North.
The driver was charged with DWI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Failure to Report an Accident.
A special complaint summonses was also issued for underage possession of alcohol.
