MANCHESTER – National Teleflora Make Someone Smile Week was a success, bringing smiles to dozens of faces at the Genesis Whiting Healthcare Center last week!
National Teleflora Make Someone Smile Week takes place from July 22-27.
On July 27, Colonial Bouquet in Lakehurst assembled young volunteers, ages 9-13, from the local Girl Scout Troop 176, the Manchester Travel Team “Manchester United,” friends and family to create 130 Happy Face Mugs and delivered them to the residents at the Genesis Whiting Healthcare Center on Hilltop Road in Whiting.
Rounding out the happy week, volunteers delivered mugs to all of the residents. Thirty volunteers shared a peaceful lunch and brought many smiles to the residents that day.
