MARLBORO — A Brooklyn woman drowned in her family’s swimming pool at their Marlboro Township residence on Wednesday, police said.
On July 17 at 10 p.m., 85-year old Fiana Milman’s body was discovered by family members in the backyard pool at their residence on Dunn Drive. The family pulled her body out of the pool and dialed 911.
Milman was transported to Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel by Marlboro First Aid Squad, however, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
According to police, Milman was visiting family in Marlboro when the incident occurred. Authorities are not clear on how she got into the pool or how long she was in there. Police believe the incident to be accidental.
An investigation is ongoing.
