LAKEHURST – Two people from Toms River were arrested on drug charges after police found them in possession of heroin and crack cocaine at the McDonald’s on Route 70 in Lakehurst.
Rocco M. Bousanti, 51, and Bria R. Krohn, 24, were arrested and processed at Lakehurst Police Headquarters on April 5.
Lakehurst Police were investigating a suspicious person report at the McDonald’s at approximately 8:27 p.m. An on-scene investigation found a hypodermic needle hidden on Krohn’s person as well as 15 wax folds of heroin and a half ounce of crack cocaine on Bousanti. Both exhibited signs of being under the influence, police said.
Further investigation at police headquarters found seven more wax folds of heroin on Krohn.
Krohn was charged with Possession of Heroin, Failure to Surrender CDS to Law
Enforcement, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Being Under the Influence of CDS Without a Prescription. Bousanti was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Failure to Surrender CDS to Law Enforcement and Being Under the Influence of CDS Without a Prescription.
Krohn and Bousanti were issued warrants for the charges and remain lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a court appearance.
