LAKEWOOD – Lakewood Police continue to search for three suspects who allegedly injured a man and stole his BMW.
Police are asking the public to look for a black 2007 BMW, license plate J96-GXJ. If seen, do not approach, but call 911.

Lakewood Police Officers were dispatched to an East Spruce Street home around 10:50 p.m. Jan. 13. The officers, Nicholas Romeo and Derek McAvoy, saw blood on the home’s front porch. Officer Tymur Zavalnyuk was sent to Monmouth Medical Center South Campus after they received a report of a man with a stab wound arriving.
The 24-year-man stab victim, from Lakewood, said he was approached by three men when he arrived at his friend’s East Spruce Street home. The men forcibly removed the man from his BMW, and after a struggle, stabbed his head and chest. The wounds were non-life-threatening.
The man described one of the men as 5’5” and chunky. The other was 5’10” or 5’11” and thin. They sped off in the BMW in an unknown direction.
