FREEHOLD – Love animals? Attend the Animal Academy! Join the Monmouth County 4-H on Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. for Animal Academy at the Monmouth County Agricultural Building, located at 4000 Kozloski Road.
Animal Academy is an educational seminar open to all Monmouth County residents. The academy offers classes on all different kinds of animals from rabbits to guinea pigs, amphibians, horses and even livestock. Learn how to properly care for baby guinea pigs or educate yourself on something new, like livestock digestion!
“This is a remarkable seminar where County residents can learn more about small and large animals in a nurturing environment,” said Freeholder Lillian G. Burry, liaison to Monmouth County 4-H. “Proceeds will be going directly to the Monmouth County 4-H Small Animal Project to assist with the costs of educational programming as well as the annual 4-H small animal show held in the spring.”
Animal Academy costs $7 for same-day registration.
