FREEHOLD – A Freehold Township man was stabbed in the abdomen while riding his bike on Stonehurst Boulevard on Sunday night, stated police.
The 24-year old was on his way home on Sunday, Jan. 6 when he was jumped by two masked men. The masked men yelled at him to stop, however the victim continued to ride his bike. The men chased, beat, and stabbed the victim, but nothing was stolen, police said.
While he managed to make it back to his apartment, the victim was later rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment. No word has been released on his condition.
Police confirm that no arrests have been made yet.
