BARNEGAT – The Barnegat Bandits Girls Travel Softball team were honored at the recent township committee meeting for their recent win as the 2018 10U All-Shore Fall League Champs.
According to the team’s website, the 10U Barnegat Bandits Travel Team finished the All-Shore Fall League season with “a hard fought 2-1 victory over the top seeded Lincroft Lightning in the championship game to take the title.” The team finished the fall season with a 9-1-1 record in league play, as well as a 6-1-1 record in independent tournament play.
Each member of the team was called up by their coaches, and by their team nicknames, for an individual certificate of achievement.
