MONMOUTH COUNTY – The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office moments ago said the detention hearing for an Ocean Township man charged with aggravated arson has been delayed.
Paul J. Caneiro’s hearing, originally scheduled for Wednesday morning, has been pushed to 9 a.m. Nov. 30. He’ll stand before Judge James J. McGann.
Caneiro is accused of setting ablaze his Tilton Drive home Nov. 20.
That same day in Colts Neck, Caneiro’s brother’s Willow Brook Road home was set on fire as well. Keith Caneiro, his wife Jennifer, and children Jesse and Sophia, were all found murdered, Keith outside the home and his wife and children inside.
Authorities have not named any suspects in that quadruple murder case.
