BRICK – There are only six new licenses available, and 146 applications. One of those applicants is hoping to bring a medical marijuana dispensary to Brick.
According to multiple sources, Jersey Shore Therapeutic Health Care, located at 385 Adamston Road, is one of the 146 to apply for a medical marijuana dispensary license. The business is owned by Anne M. Davis, Esq. and Karen Medlin, both medical marijuana patients.
They will be holding an information session 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Brick Township Municipal Building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road.
Six medical marijuana dispensaries currently operate throughout the state, in Egg Harbor Township, Montclair, Woodbridge, Cranbury, Secaucus and Bellmawr. The six additional licenses will place two dispensaries each in North, “Central” and South Jersey.
