Criminal Mischief Leads to Costly Vehicle Damage

FORKED RIVER – Lacey Township Police reported that an 800-block Alpine Street resident had costly damage done to a parked vehicle.

Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas arrived at the home 11:33 a.m. Sept. 22. The resident said that unknown persons put water in the gas line of his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. That reportedly happened Sept. 17 at night.

It was unclear why he didn’t report it until five days later.

The vehicle sustained $17,000-$20,000 worth of damage.
