NEW JERSEY – Coffee drinkers: be on the lookout. Popular coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts will be changing their name, dropping the emphasis on the “donuts”.
Although donuts will still be available, the chain will be going by just “Dunkin’”. According to the international company, they are making the change to emphasize their coffee and drink items over just bakery goods.
Dunkin’ fanatics will have to wait to see the name change in action. The new name will appear on signs, napkins, etc. come January, with the same orange and pink color scheme.
The name change will eventually be adopted by international stores.
