WHITING – UnitedHealthcare will be hosting a series of community education events during National Medicare Education Week from September 15-21. The events will offer resources to baby boomers, Medicare beneficiaries, and their families and caregivers prior to the start of Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, which takes place from Oct. 15-Dec. 7.
A community event will be held at Whiting Methodist Church on September 20, 11 a.m. There will be representatives from AARP, Caregiver Action Network, National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a), UnitedHealthcare, Walgreens and more present to provide information.
UnitedHealthcare will host numerous Medicare education events across the country during National Medicare Education Week. The events will have representatives from UnitedHealthcare to provide important information and answer any questions you may have.
Walgreens will also be providing blood pressure checks and host “Ask A Pharmacist” booths at select community events across the country.
