FORKED RIVER – A home on the 800 block of Pensacola Road was burglarized Sept. 9.
Police said an unknown person(s) entered the home while the residents weren’t there early Sunday morning and stole jewelry, cash, prescription drugs and other household items. In total, about $7,000 worth of items were taken.
Other household items were damaged, totaling $255.
Police said they didn’t find any signs of forced entry.
Officers Noah Schaffer and Jeffrey Slota responded to the scene at 5:41 a.m. Detective Pearce also responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
