LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Little Egg Harbor Township Police officers came to a local mother’s aid to help deliver her baby on September 12.
Officers John Kelly, Tonya Anderson and Mike Bishop arrived at a residence on Red Oak Lane at 3:34 p.m. where they were met with a 30-year old woman in labor. She told police her water broke.
“Officers along with Quality Ambulance Service, Squad 85 and Monoc Medics assisted the new mother in giving birth to a beautiful baby girl,” stated the police in a press release.
The mother and her new baby were later transported to the Southern Ocean County Hospital for treatment.
