FORKED RIVER – A motor vehicle accident led to an arrest for DUI.
Officers Michael Baldasari and Brian Holt responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident on Aug. 22 at 12:55 a.m. on Kent Drive.
Their investigation of the scene led to the arrest of Forked River man Erik W. Quist, 35, for DUI. He was processed at police headquarters and issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
