LAKEHURST – Lakehurst Police arrested two borough residents for theft and other charges July 21.

Police charged Thea M. Deehan, 21, with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, theft by unlawful taking and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her boyfriend, Scott W. Parker, also 21, was charged with theft by unlawful taking. Both were issued warrants on those charges and lodged at Ocean County Jail awaiting a court appearance.

The theft of a Samsung television and PlayStation 4 console was reported to police July 7 to Officer Anthony Dipaolo. On July 21, Sgt. Iain James followed up at that residence. He met with Deehan there, and police concluded that she and Parker allegedly stolen those items.

Police reported they found 13 wax folds containing heroin, one bag containing crack cocaine, one crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia on Deehan.
