SEASIDE PARK – Authorities are still investigating a fire that broke out in a borough home Monday afternoon.
Area fire departments responded to an O Street blaze that erupted around 2:20 p.m. Monday, officials said. The home is now uninhabitable, but surrounding structures were undamaged. No injuries were reported.
While the fire is still under investigation, officials believe it’s an electrical fire.
The reported companies on hand were Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Seaside Heights Fire Department, Ocean Beach Volunteer Fire Company – NJ, and Lavallette Fire Department.
