NEW JERSEY – The Cherry Hill Huntington Learning Center announced the winner of its College Scholarship Sweepstakes. Alessandra Mora of Cherry Hill, NJ received a $4,000 scholarship toward future college tuition and fees. Mora graduated from Cherry Hill East High School in June and enjoyed science classes, and the varsity swim team. She will be attending the University of Pittsburgh in the fall, majoring in Biology.
“After reading the email that I had won, I was extremely overwhelmed with emotion. After that shock wore off I was so excited that I ran downstairs screaming with my laptop to show my parents!” said Mora.
“Huntington is a proud supporter of high school students who strive to attend college, and we are excited to assist this student with his college tuition,” said Rich Bernstein, Owner of the Cherry Hill Huntington Learning Center. In addition to the Cherry Hill center, Huntington Learning Centers across the country participated in Huntington’s College Scholarship Sweepstakes.
High school students aged 14 and older were eligible to enter, as were parents, grandparents and friends of high school students attending college after graduation. Entries were submitted via text message.
